Shri Yamushtakam, the first among the sixteen works known as shodashgranth, was composed by Shri Vallabh in v.s.1549 (1491 A.D.). This beautiful stotra consists of nine verses, with eight praising Yamunaji and the ninth detailing the fruits of Shri Yamunashtakam for daily paath-doers.
